MAC 'So Chaud': first MAC lipstick purchase and my forever signature red, now beloved beyond recognition. ❤💄❤

When I had the brainstorm of creating an Instagram account all about my lipstick collection, I decided it was only fitting to name the account after my first grownup lipstick purchase; hence "EmilySoChaud".

Wait. Lipstick?

Perhaps I should explain: In my spare time, I love collecting and playing with cosmetics, and nothing starts my day off right like selecting the perfect lipstick. On a recent rainy Sunday afternoon, I decided to dig out every color I owned and document it, along with its story. The project gave me so much joy, and the final lineup of lipsticks was so lovely, that I decided to share it on Instagram and now in blog form. My apologies if you were you expecting more print collateral—this just makes me a touch happier.
