To help Grand Rounds kick off its 2017 selling season, I developed a suite of collateral designed to highlight our booth presence and support lead generation at The Conference Board's 17th Annual Employee Health Care Conference. Outreach tactics consisted of a room drop to targeted leads; a teddy-bear giveaway to highlight the "Doctor Match" feature in Grand Rounds' new "Summit" product; a prize wheel coordinating gift card giveaways from our employer customers; a presentation with our employer partner, and a cocktail hour. In total, more than 60 separate pieces of print and digital collateral were developed for the event.

Grand Rounds prepared gift boxes for selected accounts with the theme "Conference care for you, and some to share." Each box contained a kit of relaxing self-care items, as well as the opportunity to start a Grand Rounds case. The original recipient could then share the second box with a colleague or friend who might also benefit from Grand Rounds' focus on quality care.
Attendees of our scheduled presentation received flyers with miniature doctor scrubs and a CTA directing them to our booth to find their first "Doctor Match" (nodding to our new patient-physician matching product), in the form of a cuddly teddy bear. The marketing team had fun developing this concept after learning that conference attendees were most enthusiastic about swag items they could pass along to their kids.
Conference attendees were given the opportunity to spin our booth wheel for prizes including branded tchotchkes or gift cards enclosed in wrappers featuring miniature customer case studies and patient testimonials.
To showcase Summit, our newest product offering, we developed this accordion-fold brochure that demonstrated the path benefits leaders take to find the best health care for their employees, and the "great choice" they can ultimately make in selecting Summit.
Our booth featured a graphics reel containing key product features, statistics, and testimonials from patients and employer customers.
As Grand Rounds' first full-time Graphic Designer, I was responsible for elevating and bringing consistency to the Grand Rounds brand within its B2B marketing channels. I partnered with the marketing team to design a library of sales enablement collateral, including product data sheets, sales campaigns, and customer case studies.

In 2017, Grand Rounds revisited its Core Values with a goal of clarifying the original Values for an entirely new employee population, which had tripled since the initial drafting. To ensure that the values resonated in the daily vernacular of the team, I illustrated icons that were placed on individual staff Moleskine notebooks and kitchen glassware. With regular exposure to the Values set, the team is better equipped to enact the values in day-to-day tasks and interactions, and become unified toward a common mission.

To present the initial results of San Francisco’s SFpark pilot parking meter project, active from 2011 to 2014, and to provide a textbook case study for interested municipalities and policymakers across the country, SFMTA commissioned the design and production of a 130-page book entitled “SFpark: Putting Theory Into Practice." At the conclusion of the pilot, I worked with SFMTA to design three additional publications that evaluated the results of the project. The final collection of books featured a rich assortment of infographics, maps, and charts that served to highlight the lasting benefits of SFpark, which included improved parking availability, gas emission decreases, and city street congestion decreases.

Design and production of fundraising collateral for The Bay Lights, the world’s largest LED art installation, designed by Leo Villareal and conceived by San Francisco visionary Ben Davis. This series of collateral was used to generate more than $8 million in private funding to light up the Bay Bridge’s western span for two years. Happily, in the years that have passed since The Bay Lights were illuminated in 2013, permanent maintenance and funding has been secured, ensuring that The Bay Lights will shine for generations.

Amid construction of the New Stanford Hospital, scheduled to open in 2018, Stanford Health Care commissioned Words Pictures Ideas to develop a logo mark for its new name. The new typographic identity was applied to open house graphics and marketing collateral and helped create excitement around the prospect of the new hospital.

For our music-themed wedding, I worked with my husband to create a playful invitation suite based on the Beatles album “A Hard Day’s Night.” We sourced a collection of vintage 45s, designed a custom album sleeve, and hand labeled and packaged 50 sets of playable, unique invitations. The print collateral was accompanied by a WordPress website.
